Our new yearlong workshop series, "Languages of the Living Earth," will focus on a different theme in the realm of nature each month. Through the lenses of art, science, spiritual traditions, and folklore, we will explore the many vibrant languages of our planet. Each workshop will also include an opportunity to connect directly with these natural elements through a meditation or intentional practice.
The first workshop in this series centers around the theme of FLOWERS. We will explore the biological evolution of flowers, the history and use of flower essences, the sacred art of Ikebana, and the symbolism of the Victorian flower code. We will end our class with an ancient meditative practice called flower gazing.
